Now (2025) based in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Québec, Canada, Lot 514 is owned and operated by Diane and Michel, a wife and husband team who shares a love of style, jewelry, and design.
Over several years, they nurtured their dream and invested time in sharpening both their skills and creative vision. In October of 2019, they took the plunge and officially launched Lot 514, closely followed by this Website. In January of 2021, they opened their online store. Using high-quality materials is important to us. We pride ourselves on carefully selecting every element we use to create our unique designs.
When referring to jewelry, durability is as important as beauty. Rather than metal alloys, we primarily opt for stainless steel, which is strong and resilient and has a lovely muted color (shiny or matte) that pairs well with our designs. Stainless steel comes in a variety of tones: Silver (grey), yellow gold, rose gold, black, blue, green, etc. Using stainless steel means we can rest comfortably knowing our customers will be able to enjoy their pieces for many years to come. Although we sometimes also opt for sterling silver in our artisanal jewelry designs, using primarily stainless steel helps us keep our costs lower and our prices appealing. Because we understand sensitive skin, we will always gravitate towards hypoallergenic and nickel-free materials. When they're not, we'll let you know. In addition to our handcrafted artisanal collection, we offer custom (bespoke) designs as well as a beautiful, well-curated selection of imported designs.
