OUR STORY

Now based in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Québec, Canada, Lot 514 is owned and operated by Diane and Michel, a wife-and-husband team who share a love of style, jewelry, and design.

Over several years, they nurtured their dream and invested time in sharpening both their skills and creative vision.

​In October 2019, they took the plunge and launched Lot 514, making their collections available exclusively through direct sales, closely followed by their website. Later, in January 2021, they officially opened their online storefront.

Passion is what led them here, and their desire to offer you unique jewelry pieces is what drives them.

OUR VALUES

Using high-quality materials is important to us. We pride ourselves on carefully selecting every element we use to create our unique designs.

When it comes to jewelry, durability is as important as beauty. Rather than generic metal alloys, we primarily opt for stainless steel, which is strong and resilient and has a lovely muted color (shiny or matte) that pairs perfectly with our designs. Stainless steel comes in a variety of tones: silver (grey), yellow gold, rose gold, black, blue, green, and more. Using stainless steel means we can rest easy knowing our customers will be able to enjoy their pieces for many years to come.

Although we sometimes choose sterling silver for our artisanal jewelry designs, using primarily stainless steel helps us keep our costs lower and our prices appealing.

Because we understand sensitive skin, we will always gravitate toward hypoallergenic and nickel-free materials. When a piece isn't, we'll indicate it.

In addition to our handcrafted artisanal collection, we offer custom (bespoke) designs as well as a beautiful, well-curated selection of imported designs. Her meticulous eye for detail ensures every piece is beautifully presented and reaches our customers with the utmost care.

An integral and inseparable part of Lot 514, Michel plays a key role in the conception and creation. He also leads most of our outreach initiatives, showcasing our creations to our loyal customers while introducing our vision to a broader audience. A true creative catalyst, he continuously comes up with fresh ideas to evolve our catalog.
